Exploring Fenton House
Last weekend was such a lovely Spring weekend (in stark contrast with the current weather!) so we decided to make the most of it and went for a family picnic at Fenton House garden, one of the National Trust properties in central London (Hampstead). Fenton House has a lovely secluded garden which is worth a visit in any season. In late Summer early Autumn, there is a magnificent apple grove, which our daughter loves running through. And in Spring, it is obviously filled with bright daffodils. When the sun is out, it's definitely worth spending a few hours sunbathing there and having some light (or even lavish) picnic under the trees. All details of what I and she was wearing for this picnic at the end of this post.
I am still wearing my winter coat, Gandi coat from Maje (still available half price as 'Last Chance' online), a navy oversize wool cardi from Jigsaw a silk powder pink camisole with grey lace detail and a navy merino wool jumper from Zadig & Voltaire (both from the new collection), a pair of Zara jeans (new collection), New Balance trainers available at J.Crew, and a cashmere scarf from Loro Piana.
My daughter is also still wearing her winter coat, Duvet coat, hat and scarf from Cordelia de Castellane (now only availabe in shops which still have Winter stocks, such as Hampstead, but there seems to be stocks still available from Guess kids on line if you are in desperate need), navy pleated dress and tights from Jacadi (not yet available on line but shops in Hampstead and Chelsea, otherwise would recommend La Coqueta for tights and Miller for cute classic dresses), trainers from 10is (absolutely love that brand which has a great range of cool sneakers for kids) available from AlexandAlexa or Smallable.
